About GABOC

Glenbard All Breed Obedience Club (GABOC) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to educating owners to train their dogs using positive reinforcement methods. For over 60 years, we’ve helped people turn their dogs into well-mannered companions—or champions in the ring.

We welcome dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. Our passionate instructors and assistants bring real-world experience in obedience, agility, therapy work, and more.

Interested in taking your involvement to the next level? We’d love to welcome you and your dog into the GABOC community!

To be eligible for membership, you’ll need to:

  • Complete at least six weeks of training within a six-month period
  • Have three current club members sponsor your application

Whether you’re passionate about training, competing, or just enjoying time with your dog, GABOC is here to support you.

General Membership Meetings are held in 6 times per year and a great way to stay connected and get involved.

Annual Membership Rates

Annual Memberships are renewed each year and must be received by December 31st to remain active.

  • Individual Membership: $20
  • Family Membership: $25
